About Ellen B. Flynn, ESQ.

Ellen B. Flynn has 23 years of experience as a trial attorney.  Although many of her cases settle, she has obtained several large jury verdicts for clients who have been injured by preventable medical mistakes. Although no two cases are the same and no one can guarantee a particular result, Ellen always strives to provide compassionate representation to people who need a voice in their battle for justice.

In 2022, Ellen was recognized by the Association for Trial Lawyers American Association for Justice Board of Governors for Outstanding Achievement. Her work was distinguished for going above and beyond in fulfilling her Board Member obligations and responsibilities. She was commended for her outstanding work as a Board Member entrusted to help the American Association for Justice fulfill its mission to protect the right to trial by jury and strengthen the civil justice system.

Ellen has been honored to serve as the President of the Maryland Association for Justice (MAJ), an organization of over 1200 trial attorneys. MAJ is devoted to educating attorneys and preserving access to justice for all people who have been injured by negligence.  Ellen has spent countless hours in Annapolis testifying before state legislators on bills that would impact rights of individual victims. Ellen is also a frequent contributor and former Editor-in-Chief of the Trial Reporter, a legal journal of the Maryland Association for Justice. In 2020, at the end of her term as President, she was awarded the Women's Caucus Award for her support of other female trial attorneys in Maryland.
